Working out with DEA Strength and Conditioning was one of the best decisions I have made in my athletic career so far. I went to DEA my senior year of high school to train to play Division 1 football in the fall. My goal in the offseason was to increase my power, stamina, and strength while adding weight to my frame. Over a six-month time span I gained 25lbs leaving for college weighing 300lbs. I was never able to do a single pull up but by the time I was done at DEA, I could do six. I was skeptical about increasing my stamina because we hardly did any running to condition at DEA, but when I left in June, I was in the best shape of my life. Grip strength was one of the things I needed to work on if I wanted to be successful at the next level. Kevin worked with me every day and my grip has never been better. My level of play significantly increased because I worked out with DEA Strength and Conditioning. Kevin Dea and the whole DEA strength team are very dedicated to what they do. You will not come by another strength coach that loves what he does more than Kevin Dea. Kevin cares about all his clients and takes great pride in what he does. I will always be grateful to DEA Strength and Conditioning for getting me into the best shape of my life.
A little over a month ago I decided to take a chance and did the Jump Start program. Best decision I made for myself, so I decided to become a member. I work out 3x’s a week now. The workouts are insane and I do struggle but I am so happy that I took this chance. Everyone is so nice there. And Kevin, is just absolutely amazing. So many times I just want to give up altogether but he motivates me to push a little harder. I still have a ways to go, but I know I’m getting stronger ever day. I’m so happy I made this investment to better my health. So excited to see where I am in a few more months.
I thought it would be difficult getting up at 5 a.m., but instead I find myself looking forward to going in everyday. Kevin’s enthusiasm, knowledge, and technique makes the gym experience less like a chore and more like an uplifting part of my day. Definitely recommend DEA Strength Training!!
Kevin’s gym is my favorite place to be at, there is always friendly faces there and positive attitudes. Kevin is always there to support you and he wants the best. Overall, I’m very proud of the improvement in my speed, upper/lower body strength, and confidence in myself. If you want amazing results, I suggest going to this gym, there is no other gym like it.
Kevin’s knowledge of movement and functionality paired with his training techniques are what make him the best trainer in the Philly area. With the unique training methods Kevin uses has got me in the best shape I’ve been in to perform at my best for the full duration of a long 100+ game season. After working with DEA Performance for around 5 months my strength, agility, power, and speed numbers were all up from before due to the personalized workout regiments he has put together for me. This led to me having the best season I’ve had in my professional career thus far. This being said with the season coming to an end I look forward to getting back to working with Kev and getting stronger, faster and all around better athlete. The best part about Dea Performance and Fitness is that you’re not just another client he actually cares about you as a person and ultimately a friend.
I have been coming to DEA Performance since last summer and best decision I have ever made. I work out at DEA Performance three days a week and each day is something different. It is not about losing weight but you are also learning about improving muscle strength, posture and balance. The workouts sometimes can be intense but they are a lot of fun.
Before coming to Kevin I had two major knee injuries. Having been with him for almost a year, I feel stronger than ever. Kevin has helped me improve my strength in all areas of the body. Kevin is a great trainer and knows exactly what he is doing.
I spent about 2 months in Kevin’s gym and it has honestly been one of the best experiences of my life. I have became my fastest and strongest self. Kev’s ability to bring versatility and efficiency to a workout is great. I love it and can’t wait to get back when I heal up!

I lost 8lbs in 7wks, I feel stronger healthier and sexy!!! And most importantly very happy. I first thought it’s really hard going to the gym no time no time w having daughter, husband, job…. Many people are shocked when I told them I wake up at 4am. “4am?” Hey I thought the same way, except now I anticipate the urge to go lol. It was a stepping stone in my life before I finally made it apart of my life. And YOU can do it too! Don’t have to be in the gym, just move, shake and groove something and YOU can feel a difference in ur life as well. Be healthy in the mind, body, and spirit.
